``Do I need a hair salon or video store card to go hiking?'' The

smart wallet that debuted with this slogan has finally undergone a model change. The TRAIL BANK series was created with the same product concept in pursuit of ease of use and durability. While the M size has almost the same design as the smart wallet, the S size is actually a very ambitious work that challenges the question of how compact a wallet can be.

It's really easy to make it compact. First, we created a prototype that looked like a "Pochibukuro". It had the ultimate minimal design, storing several cards and folded banknotes, but it wasn't very smart to use.

So how can you make your wallet smaller without sacrificing usability?　

After making many prototypes, we came up with the idea of ​​using the card itself as a strength component for the wallet. It is structured so that it only becomes stiff as a wallet when you insert three cards. In other words, it is a unique wallet that cannot be used properly without a card.

The TRAILBANK-S, which was created in this way, can only hold a driver's license, insurance card, credit card, a few bills, and coins for beer cans. In return, it has the effect of making you feel lighter and lighter on your feet.
